Have to be reminded to get payed

I really don’t get it. I’ve been with this family for about a month and I really like mom and dad and the kids. Mom is really sweet and friendly to me. But we agreed on pay-day being on fridays. It’s now Saturday and I just texted her reminding her i did not receive pay, she goes “Okay sorry i’ll send it later today or tomorrow morning” like what? I rely on this money and she honestly pays me whenever it seems convenient for her. What do i do?
