All White NR200P V2 Build

Hi all,

After 15+ yrs since I last attempted to build a PC, I decided now was the time as I over the months I got into the idea of building a SFF PC after my last PC finally died on me after 10 years of use.

Bit of a story here as I originally ordered a custom pre-built from Overclockers in the UK, which was great for a couple months, and then the dreaded issue with Intel's 13th and 14th gen CPUs cropped up. Took a few months but eventually isolated the issue, and RMA'd it back.

I did some more research, and ultimately decided if I wanted my "dream PC" I was going to have to bite the bullet and just build it myself.

Never had the patience for it in the past as I just wanted my PC to work so I could game on it, but this time it was actually surprisingly fun to build, albeit with a few issues on the way.

Originally went with a Lian Li SP 850 SFX PSU, but read there was some potential issues with it, and also wanted a quieter CPU, so upgraded to a Asus ROG Loki 850, and had to wait for that and some parts mid way trough the build. I also make a few mistakes and ordered some extra fans Arctic P12 case fans that I didn't need, as they wouldn't fit at the bottom so went with some Corsair slim fans instead (couldn't find any white Arctic slim fans). The Corsair fans can be quite loud, so I changed the fan curve for much lower RPM even under load.

Also made the mistake of ordering a 92mm fan for extra rear exhaust, only to realize it would only fit on a regular NR200, not the V2.

Faced some challenges while building, like cable management, as originally I routed it all behind the motherboard, only to realize the side panel wouldn't fit, So I had to redo the cable management and unfortunately ended up a little messier.

Last of the problems was I accidentally forgot to connect the ARGB cable to my fan hub, so half the lights didn't work, but I realized and sorted it out later.

Also had an issue that my 2nd SSD wasn't being detected, thinking maybe I screwed up the 2nd M2 slot on the mobo, but after testing realized it was the actual NVME drive that was dead, so will have to get a replacement at some point.

Ordered JakeFaceCustoms acryllic vented side panels on both sides from u/jakeface1 , shoutout to him for his great work. Small issue where the little balls that connect to the side broke off during shipping, but used some DIY double sided sticky tape to sort it.

It's currently chilling in the front room hooked up to the TV. Temps, performance, and noise level seem very good, averaging 60°C on CPU after updating the BIOS and tinkering with its settings and fan curves to keep it cool and quiet.

Ultimately, I am very happy with how it turned out, and here's a few images of the build and final look!
