Gpu purchase limit

Is microcenter doing the 30 day limit on gpu purchases like before? I ask cause I was just in microcenter and overheard another customer asking an employee why there were campers outside at noon when they were already open. The employee told the customer they were camping for a gpu and had been for the last 5 days. He said the 3 guys in line were buying cards to resell. Asking cause if he knows they are scalping then why not say something? Thanks.
