Are IdeaPads still as bad as what many have claimed?

I’m currently considering to get an IdeaPad Pro 5 as its specs look amazing (Ryzen 7 8845HS, 32gb/1tb, 16” screen, and a seemingly good battery life for just $1000USD!)

However, I’ve read through this sub and it appears that are huge design flaws and poor build quality with this brand of laptops (particularly the hinges).

I’d like to check if this is still a common issue for newer generations of the IdeaPads? Offering such great specs for such a low price seems a little too good to be true tbh.

Are the IdeaPads really that bad?
