Animal Cruelty? How Do We Feel About MiPig Cafe in Kyoto and Ginza Art Aquarium?

Mipig Cafe Tokyo has a 4.9 on Google, but reading a lot of the 1 star reviews and people are claiming that it's animal cruelty. I would love to visit an animal cafe, but not at the expense of an animal's welfare. What's the deal here, and is any animal cafe in Japan ethical? Would love your thoughts and suggestions.

Similarly, I heard Ginza art aquarium is small and beautiful, but also cruel. Please let me know if there are any activities involving animals in Japan that aren't cruel. Thank you so much!
