Just Watched Iratta and all I wanna say is
Ok, first of all I went out of my comfort zone to watch a movie with Subs (Because it is not dubbed and I am more comfortable in watching dubbed movies). It took me more than usual time but it was worth it.
Iratta is a Malyalam Suspense Drama movie that deals with themes like Childhood trauma, Mental health and relationships with family members.
This is the kind of Movie that I must say is more than what I expect from Indian cinema. The direction, the acting, the pace.. everything was so awesome, now I feel like watching more of Mollywood movies..
Well, The movie is awesome at the best. But I regret that I watched it after watching Maharaja because I involuntarily drew the comparisons between these two films because of somewhat, similar themes.
Well, As I've watched this movie in its original (I have watched movies like Mudhlavan, Pokiri, The Chaser, Seven Samurais, Yojimbo, Thupakki, Lai Bhari, Okaddu and Kathi & more in original, but I just don't feel comfortable watching movies with subs on). I am kinda getting motivated to watch GGVV (a movie I wanted to watch for so damn long). But I also feel that this movie should be Dubbed in Hindi as well (with good script writers and awesome voice actors like Rajesh Khatter, Ninad Kamat, Saket Mhatre and Mona Ghosh) as this movie needs to be reached to more and more people come to know the Standard of Indian cinema is much more than Bollywood and South is not all RRR, Pushpa, Baahubali, Robot and KGF but much more than that.
