Only three eggs retrieved, devastated

I’m 34, had my egg retrieval today and was only able to get three eggs, out of 8 follicles. I had an AFC of 9 on the right overy and 5 on the left overy. So I’m surprised I was able to retrieve so few. My AMH is not super high but it’s at 1.5 which I feel is still fairly ok. I’m devastated by this news as I know IVF is a numbers game. Also I was triggered after just one week of STIMS, after my first ultrasound. This makes me think some of the follicles weren’t given enough time to mature. Could there be a possibility that I might have ovulated too soon? Could some eggs have been missed during the retrieval? I’m just looking for hugs, helpful stories and advise I guess.
