Cherry Tomato Greenery

Hey Everyone, I’ve been having fun working on these two cherry tomato plants that I grew from seed around 6 months ago. I only started giving it food (chopped banana peels) recently and have seen a dramatic improvement in its health and fruit size.

There is lots of new green growth at the top of the plant but the middle is looking very dismal and brown. Is there anything I can do to help improve this and get more fruit growing in that area rather than having the plant go higher and higher, I only wanted it to grow to the top of the trellis.
