New User S21 FE 5G Review

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G(Exynos variant) for approximately $250, which was a surprising price point considering the usual tag of around $300. Living in a country with strict sanctions has made it difficult to buy directly from Samsung, so this purchase was significant for me.

Initially, I was filled with doubt and concern. When my card was charged, I thought I had been scammed, especially since I had spent 3-5 hours searching for a reliable deal. The first few hours with the phone were disappointing; the battery life seemed terrible, and I was convinced that I had received a refurbished device.

However, after updating the phone and letting it optimize itself overnight, my perspective changed dramatically. I took the time to "degoogle" my device and restricted unnecessary background apps, which made a noticeable difference in performance. Now, I can confidently say that I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

As someone who primarily uses an iPhone 13 Pro, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the Galaxy S21 FE. It has completely shifted my perception of Samsung devices, and I’m now considering making a full switch to Samsung.

That said, there are a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. The extreme heating issues due to the plastic back panel can be concerning, as it tends to conduct heat quite poorly. It’s not ideal, but it hasn't deterred me from enjoying the phone overall.

In conclusion, I genuinely love this phone, especially Samsung's One UI. If you're on the fence about purchasing this device (though I doubt many will be by 2025), I encourage you to give it a shot—just keep in mind that battery life might not be its strongest suit.
