Why is R.F Kuang and her books heavily disliked on Reddit?

Any post I see on R.F Kuang and her books seem to be mainly on the negative side. She is constantly mentioned compared to other disliked books and authors. Even if someone posts a positive review the comments will be full of the books is bad and other such comments. I personally liked the Poppy War.On the other platforms where she is mentioned (goodreads, X instagram etc) her books are well regarded and even acclaimed authors (Rick Riordan and V.E Schwabs) gave it five stars.

I acknowledge that compared to other books that are widely well received her books are lacking but not to the point it becomes synonymous with bad fantasy. I feel like everybody just jumped on the bandwagon that is hate R.F Kuang and her books.
