Gems Or Uni Tokens?

So I have 1.7k universal tokens and was sort of saving them for TOTY point exchange. But I thought should I keep spending 1k uni tokens each week for 2.5k gems or should I just save them and get the gems from winter wonder event?

Btw I m at 24k gems rn
