Wife / player spoiled a secret for herself

So I'm doing a homebrew game using 5e set in Corymr, and left off on a pretty awesome cliff hanger , setting up some midgame/ endgame to transition into running eve of ruin at level 10. After the session, my wife google lense searched the symbol they found (that no one rolled well enough to recognize) and discovered it was a symbol associated with vecna, and started to read the wiki about vecna. I trust her to not meta game as she is a DM her self and runs her own games as well and has an extensive amount of knowledge about the lore but it really rubbed me the wrong way to catch her side Stepping her bad roll like this. Idk where I'm going with this, just kind of venting I guess because everyone else I could talk to about this is also in that game and I don't want anyone else to get the big reveal spoiled.
