What are some good ways to improve crown preps?
I've finally gotten the gist of crown preps in the sense of actually understanding what I'm supposed to do and feeling confidently holding the handpiece as a I drill at high speed. I feel I'm not stopping as often and I'm drilling all the way through. I do think here is so much to improve, namely, on how my preps look. What are some good ways to improve occlusal reduction like maintaining the anatomical form of the tooth? I feel my preps are too flat occlusally and lack the little anatomy you see on the natural teeth (struggled with this in lab as well. Also, what are good ways to round out line angles? Are there any specific burs that are good to use? I would love some tips and different methods to experiment with.
