Lingual Bar causing back pain??
I recently had a patient that I removed a Lower lingual Bar on because his chiropractor recommended it saying that they can cause pain throughout the body. Patient was back this week for hygiene and I asked how he was doing since the Bar was removed and he said all his pain was gone. The patient said that his chiropractor also had a patient with tons of swelling in their legs ans was going to have surgery for it but he recommended having the lingual Bar removed. And walla, swelling gone. I'm curious if any of you all have heard of this? Seems like some voodoo magic to me but this patient said his back pain was instantly gone.
