Does DS4 support ps5 controllers?

Going to buy a controller for my PC. Split between a ps4, a ps5 and an xbox controller. Which one would you recommend. I've already used the ps4 controller with my ds4 before and it works flawlessly. Open to suggestions. Thanks!
