First GCC Egg Ever — Advice Wanted!

Hello everyone!

As the title says, one of my birds laid an egg. I say “one of them” because my family and I are not sure which one. As we were transferring them from their sleep cage to their main cage, we found it at the bottom of the cage. We already set up an appointment with our avian vet for later this week (closest they had available). I’m afraid of the possibility of “egg binding” or other laying issues that could endanger my birds’ lives. I would appreciate any advice from experienced owners when you want to prevent any more egg laying and offset hormonal behavior during this season 😅
