Just want to complain about getting flank in 3s and 4s

I have had quite a few games where my teammate lost his mind the second he saw that he got flanked. He would start spamming the ping and threatening to leave the game if I didn't move my army to his side immediately. By the time I got to his side, the fight was already over, and I had to fight two to three players while my army was also out of position. It feels like I have to pick between losing a teammate or my army, lol. The first thing he should do is to retreat and try saving his units, then slowly work his way back. People seem to forget that if they are getting 3v2 on their side, it is also a 1v2 on the other side.
