Lowkey, a blessing in disguise for them to split up. They do mesh a lot, but lowkey in another world I could have seen city morgue being constant collaborators instead of an actualized collective. Some songs will have a beast verse from one of them and a weak one from the other, and it does make me think. I think toppy toppy is a fucking awesome track but imagining a feature w Zilla on it, it would be horrible. Screaming at the rain is (used to be) dope, but I feel like sos verse just wasn’t playing to his strengths or doing much for that song. They can def match energy, but with how distasteful Zilla and subsequently his music has become, I wish there were edits of cm songs with sos only.
