Are there unique ways to acquire challenge coins without having to be military/police?

Obviously you can buy challenge coins but are there any unique ways to acquire any? I’ve got a couple from my time in the military and have bought a couple from museums but think it would be cool to acquire more. They’re kind of fun to collect!
