Why everyone thinks that engineering is bad?

I am in first year 1 st sem, professors asked us a question that how many of u are here because u really wanted to pursue engineering 😭 and only i raised my hand! Everyone else is pursuing engineering because they were forced or something else like that. They think engineering is really bad.
