Newcomer question - Should I Google?

Hey r/Blacklibrary

Despite warnings of little hope or comfort in this dark and terrible era, I seek knowledge.

I recently bought the Eisenhorn Omnibus, and it's my first real proper introduction into 40k. I've watched a number of Luetin09, as well as painted minis and played the TTG with a buddy (mostly during covid). Played a couple hours of space marine. But this is my first real time diving into it. Thus bringing me to my question:

How much should I rely on context clues, versus googling? Even within the first couple pages of Xenos, I'm finding myself wanting to search the wiki. Servitors, pict-recordings, inquisitors, etc. I feel like I am able to understand through context what the story is telling me, but at the same time I feel like I'm missing some of the richness because I don't know enough foundation.

Where do y'all stand? Any suggestions? Should I keep going and pick up the universes concepts and language through simply reading more pages? Or am I okay to wiki around as long as I avoid spoilers?
