Looking into WEN Pl1252 12.5” planer

I recently got a bench top jointer and am looking into a planer. I do very novice woodworking (outdoor benches, storage shelves, some indoor tables, etc.) and am trying to decide on spending money on a dewalt or going with this deal someone has offered me for a Wen. He wants $150 and it’s brand new in the box. I know the dewalt is miles ahead but the only planing I will probably do is squaring off 2x4’s 2x6’s and maybe some 4x4’s after they run through the jointer.

I would appreciate your suggestions and advice.
