I got a cavity filled and am so worried

I am so worried, I can’t stop crying. I had to go to the dentist today to get a cavity filled. I told the hygienist I was pregnant and she told me the numbing medications were safe. I also told the dentist who then told me that the hygienist used Septocaine, which she said was category c because no studies had been done. She said that wasn’t the safest choice and then switched to lidocaine. I am so worried and afraid it could result in miscarriage or birth defects. I am so angry because I told the hygienist and she still gave me a class c drug. I feel like this is negligence. I am only 5 weeks along with a prior mc. Has anyone had this happen before?
