What books were part of your high school English curriculum in the UK?

I'm curious to know what books were typically taught in UK high schools as part of the English literature curriculum. For example, I know that in the US, books like "To Kill a Mockingbird" (almost certainly not part of the UK reading) and "The Diary of Anne Frank" (I have no idea) are commonly taught. What books were common as part of the curriculum in UK high schools?
