[General] Who are some villains that might have been heroes (or morally better to some extent) had they been born in a different fictional universe?

Edit: To clarify, when I said a "different fictional universe", I didn't mean any other random one, but a specific one. As in, "Wow, if Character X had been born Universe Y, (s)he'd probably be a hero!"
