Midterm id troubles.

I have a midterm (for com sci) on Thursday and I dont have a valid passport. The only thing I have is a health card and birth certificate. I heard some people in the past say they accept them but those were from a couple years ago so im wondering if anyone has any recent experiences with this.

And another thing ive been told by some people that if you miss a midterm it gets moved to the final exam. I couldn’t find any evidence of this so im wondering if its true and if it is, is it a university policy or is it specific to each course?
