Hip Problem?

So I (27M) started yoga last week and I’ve notice some difficulties doing some certain position. I would struggle with some position while lying on my back and moving my legs inward my chest/stomach. My hip bones/area seem to really hurt and feels like it is cramping. Is that common or does that mean my body is messed up?

Another example is when lying on my back and raising one leg in the air and going back down without touching the ground and my hip bone would make a slight pop noise/movement that doesn’t hurt but it is noticeable. Never really notice till now so I am a little concern.
