Fired cause I was "distracted"

I was just laid off from my job after 4 years. Never had I had any complaints or issues from anyone about my work. My work would get completed. Without any warning, no conversations about work performance or even establishing a PIP, I was let go.

Have y'all ever heard of "being distracted" as an excuse to being fired?
