Death to the Black Ones (Rant)

I'm almost half way through Blood of Elves and honestly FUCK NILFGAARD. Like I'm seeing people with Nilfgaard user flairs and I've so far only played The Witcher 3, and I see characters siding with them. But after reading about how they burned down Cintra, killed Queen Calanthe, did whatever they did to Ciri and mutilated Triss at the battle of Sodden hill, I'm thinking "How the hell is Nilfgaard not the absolute worst faction in the entire universe?" I'm not seeking answers, because I know I'll find them in the books. Just wanted to rant about how much I hate Nilfgaard right now, and see if my opinion changes later. But for now, DEATH TO THE BLACK ONES.
