Is this a dry socket? I've been worrying about having dry sockets since after my wisdom tooth removal and been checking the area for days.

It's been 3 days since I had my wisdom tooth out. Ive been checking the sucket for days and it looked normal yesterday and now it looks like this. I don't even brush the area near the socket since I fear that I might brush of the blood clot. And now I'm worried that this moght be a dry socket since I've been feeling pain from my jaw and my neck as well as my ear sometimes. Sometimes I can handle the pain but sometimes I don't and I have a hard time gulping and speaking.
