Changes to Content Sharing and Rule Clarification

Upon review, the mod team of r/wildhockey has decided to make changes to the way content is shared on this platform. Any posts linked from social media sites must contain the full content of the linked post in the header/body of the reddit post, or in the comments. A screenshot if the post is also acceptable.

Any media in the link should be embedded in that post.

Users of this community should be able to view the content of what you've shared without having to click through the link if they don't wish to view it. Simply posting a link without this information will be removed.

If you would like to provide a link to a mirror of that post hosted on another site in a comment, you are absolutely welcome to do so. Please note in the comment that these are mirror links.

Political conversations will continue to be removed. That includes discussions of political figures, political parties, and political policies that aren't relevant to hockey (ex. A tax grant that would provide a new arena for the Wild is acceptable discussion as news, a mayor or other political person attending a Wild game is an acceptable post as a point of interest, discussions of events like the Frost visiting the governor's mansion would be acceptable).

Discussions of identity-based theme nights are not considered politics. A human being existing as they are is not a political statement. It only becomes politics when that identity is used as a political tool. Don't do that.

And, to make it absolutely and abundantly clear, Nazis, Nazi apologism, and hateful speech are not tolerated in this sub. There is no place for hate here, and if you come into this sub attempting to justify that ideology, you will be banned.

Thank you.
