Parental control with broken pad

I recently wanted to start up my WiFi again for New year's Eve but ran into an issue. Our gamepad has been broken for a while now but didn't need it as I wanted to use the Wii channel anyway to play normal Wii games. However, for some reason there are now parental controls on all of our accounts and we don't know why. We do not know the pin and after putting in multiple wrong ones, it never gives us an option to reset it or to get an inquiry code.

We can't access the parental controls menu as our gamepad is broken. We can open games in the wiiu menu fine without needing a pin. Just the Wii menu asks for pins for some reason...
