Whiskeys from all 50 states

Trying to do the 50-state challenge of just going to every state, but as a whiskey lover, I really want to get a good bottle sourced from each state, too. Here’s the ones I’ve done and the states I will be going to in the near future.

Any help with distilleries to hit up or local brands to look out for at the liquor stores would be much appreciated! Even for states I’ve crossed off, any better suggestions than the ones I’ve done would be nice for possible second trips back.

TX - Devil’s River - Forgot the exact verbiage, but they had one with agave in it that was super smooth

WA - Copperworks - Special Release Single Malt Cask 384 (kind of a market ploy where you got to fill it yourself from the barrel, but still really rich and at a 124 proof)

OR- Westward - Single Malt Pinot Noir Cask (low proof but soooo smooth)

AK - Amalga Distillery - Single Malt Batch 17 (super honey forward. Nothing special but went there on a cruise and it was the only distillery at any of our port of calls)

CA - ??? Going here next month, specifically in Anaheim for a quick Disney trip. I know there aren’t any distilleries in the area, but any CA sourced whiskeys that could be easily found at local stores?

MA - ??? Will be in South Boston for a convention in November. I was looking at Bully Boy or Grand Ten, but maybe there are other ones in the vicinity, or ones stocked at the local liquor stores?

NV - ??? No trips planned, but lots of family in Vegas so it’s bound to happen. I know of Frey Ranch, but any suggestions closer to Vegas would be appreciated.

HI - ??? I actually live here lol (Oahu). Koolau Distillery is the only one on island with a whiskey (Old Pali) but I’ve heard bad reviews of it. Maybe someone from the other islands can recommend a distillery to go to if I ever island hop again.
