WhatsApp backup

Hello, I have a question, I want to have WhatsApp with my same number but as you know the backup copy is saved in iCloud of the current Apple ID, but I want to use it on another new Apple ID, but can I have my conversations or will it be like starting WhatsApp again ? thank you
