Wedding gig help

Hello, I am a 1st year Violin Performance major at university. Recently, me and a cellist landed a gig, and we perform in 2 weeks. It is our fault for not figuring this stuff out earlier, we were picked up a week ago.

What are good ideas for wedding pieces that can be simply played to good effect? Any movie soundtracks, something like a Pixar movie perhaps that has arrangements for Cello and Violin? Classical pieces are welcome, but modern and pop songs would also be helpful.

In addition to this, I have never used pickups before, are they recommended? The host said they would provide all mixing equipment, what should I do to be prepared?

Any tips on wedding gigs would be greatly appreciated.
