being a shy person thats trying to build some courage around other shy people sucks because they'll ask you to do things (ie, make and deliver a public announcement) and you know that theyre only asking you so that you get the fall / the embarrassment and they're safe.

i like how there's people still laughing at me probably because my delivery was awkward but i did my best to sound self-assured. im reeling from the embarrassment but at least everyone else is ok / had a good laugh.

it's just so annoying.
