What’s our next “homebase” after Cosmopolitan?
We’ve been loyal to Cosmopolitan for 10 years. We love it but are ready to move on post-acquisition, but mostly due to maybe aging out? We are doing one last hurrah in October (thanks to MGM somehow offering the same comp nights package we’ve been accustomed to the last 10 years, even though we skipped a year due to having a baby). I’m thrilled they offered this.
We were initially thinking Wynn/Encore but the location is a bit discouraging. We love to walk around and be in the center of everything. Is there anything comparable even available or should we stick it out with Cosmo?
We gamble and eat enough to get comped upgraded rooms but that’s probably the extent of it.
Any hidden gems? I’d prefer to spend $0 on rooms after the first visit. Please let me know if that’s out of touch. We aren’t huge gamblers, but it’s hard to gauge relative to other people here. Probably spend $5-10k a trip on gaming, but will pull back if we’re losing. We have no issue spending on fine dining but aren’t huge gambling risk-takers.
Let me know if you have any questions, I know this is pretty vague.
Also adding we love a full pool day with cabana/daybed depending on how many people we’re meeting up (if any). So a nice pool atmosphere is appreciated!
We’re 36.
