Thinking of getting the vegan symbol tattooed but worried about discrimination. Any of you have any bad (or good) experiences?

Hi I (22m) live in Hong Kong and I've been thinking for a while now to get the vegan symbol (this subreddit's pfp) on the side of my neck behind my ear, kinda like this. The idea is that because there isn't really much of a vegan scene here (unless I'm completely blind), that if a vegan sees my neck, I might find like-minded people. I've already found a tattooist that uses vegan ink (side note: can't believe I even have to check if my tattoo ink doesn't exploit animals... what a world).

Anyways, that's just context about my situation and I know you guys are all over the world (probably in the US) and bad people come from everywhere, but for those of you with obvious vegan tattoos, any good or bad stories? Do you get bad looks or comments? Even worse, lose a job opportunity? On the flip side, did it even allow more vegans to come up and talk to you?
