Question about BLAW 3310 with Lee Schwemer

I'm taking BLAW 3310 w Schwemer and was wondering if anyone knew his makeup exam procedure?? His syllabus states makeup exams are available for people who "unavoidably" missed an exam. I had a family thing planned for a day out of state and one of the exams happen to fall on this exact day lol i was just wondering if anyone was familiar with his process of make up exams or anything that could help me decide if I should just count on not being able to make it
