Hand written address vs a printed label from USPS?

Last week I did a trade with someone over in MO, I’m in VA. I printed a label while he hand wrote the address. We shipped the same day in the early afternoon. When I look at the tracking number (of the item I sent) I would get the normal updates. In transit, weather delayed, and so on. When I check the tracking that he sent( he sent a picture of the receipt and it’s showing up in my informed delivery) it hasn’t moved at all. Said was going to get delivered Saturday by 9pm, nothing. And now it just says this. I can’t get in contact with anyone at usps to ask.
