Anti-car people are delusional

There seems to be a sentiment on Reddit that cities would be designed so much differently if cars never existed. I read so many posts that make it seem as though cities would be designed around walkers or bicyclists, depending on the sub, as though carriages and trolleys never existed. It wasn’t safer back then for pedestrians either, just look at the origins of the name of the Dodgers baseball team. They were the Brooklyn Trolly Dodgers!
