Romance movies/shows about a handsome/rich/amazing guy and a plain jane are cringe

Absolutely no handsome dude would be in love with some plain good for nothing girl. I am tired of romance movies being centered aroung this concept bc it's so unrealistic that it's cringe and I say this as a female myself. If the girl is plain then the dude should be plain too. And if the dude is handsome make the girl beautiful and smart too so I can take it seriously. And I know someone is going to say that it's just a fantasy but honestly it doesn't matter.

(not to mention that a lot of these shows are toxic)
