Space marine patch 3.1

So the latest patch (3.1) just dropped a day or so ago. On the patch notes it states "Fixed issue with dynamic resolution and ultrawide screens". What does that mean exactly.

Has anyone managed to test out the game on there ultrawide (preferable 32:9 aspect ratio) since the new patch dropped?
