ILR set (o) Priority timeline

Hi All,

Just want to share my experience with the ILR set (O) Priority application timeline and experience.

Just as a background, I was on a 5 year tier-2 general visa, previous to that I was on a tier-4 student visa for almost 2 years for my MBA and internship. Under my tier-2 visa, I worked with the same employer the whole time which made the whole process much more straightforward for me.

Here's my timeline: - 7/12 - Application submitted - 1/1 - Current BRP expired - 2/2 - Biometrics appointment - 4/2 - Approval decision received - 6/2 - BRP received

More info: - Biometrics appointment: I chose a free standard slot, the entire appointment took 30 mins including around 10 mins of waiting time. I uploaded all my documents ahead of the appointment. They took my photo, fingerprints, quickly went through my docs and checked with me whether I went through the checklist provided, then he submitted my application along with the uploaded documents upon confirming that I'm happy for him to do so. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Documents submitted: - Current passport (scanned the photo page and all pages with stamps/visa) - All previous passports that I used during my stay in the UK (scanned the photo page and all pages with stamps/visa) - My home country ID - BRP (front and back) - Letters from employer: 1. To confirm my annual salary, nearest SOC code, job title, confirmation that the salary is above the required salary as per SOC and that I'm still required for this role in the foreseeable future 2. All the dates that I was away from the UK and the explanation whether that was for business trip or annual leave. I also added a statement that all annual leaves were taken within the standard procedures - Proof of immigration status: 1. Tier-2 decision letter 2. BRP (I attached them again in this category) 3. Immigration status share code - Latest bank statements and payslip - Other documents (not requested but provided): 1. Marriage certificate (my husband is a Brit) 2. House Title Deed 3. Annual Salary Review Letter for 2024 4. Life in the UK test result 5. UK University certificate

Hope this is helpful. Feel free to ask any questions.

Good luck with your application if you are going through it!
