Could you help me pick out an electric acoustic?

I’m a student in love with the sound of ukes. In 2020 I had a Kala KA15s with an added KNA pickup and was making progress but it was lost or stolen in a move. I decided I’m ready for a replacement. I really would like an Electric acoustic as I want to play with effects and record but I don’t know which . I’m thinking in the 150-200 range. Personally I may just get a new KA 15 s and put a KNA on it like I did before but I am also a in love with the Fullerton Strat. Sadly Ted Brown( my local store) doesn’t stock many E/As so the only one I’ve tried is a $400 one 2 days ago and a Grace VanderWaal last year. Any ideas?
