Dogsitting at a rental property?

Hi all! I’ll be traveling back to my hometown in MA for a friend’s event next month and don’t want to leave my dog alone in the VRBO we’ll rent for the weekend since it’s a new place for him. Has anyone ever dogsat/had someone dogsit for a few hours at a rental property through TH? I know it’s not the usual setup but I trust this community more than rover… any thoughts?
