Transit App question

I live in Rochester, NY and use the bus system to get around everywhere. The Rochester Transit System (RTS) uses the Transit App to give real-time updates, including how far away your bus is, how long until it reaches your stop, and when you should leave to get there.

This is all helpful information, but I am disabled and use a cane to get around, which means I walk considerably slower than the average person. On multiple occasions, this has led to me missing buses because the Transit App says it'll take me five minutes to get somewhere, when it actually takes me closer to seven.

My question: Is there any way to adjust the Transit App's "expected times" so I'm not constantly trying to figure out if I can actually make the bus? I've been just adding 2-3 minutes to the time it's supposed to take and hoping that will be enough to get me to a bus stop in time, but sometimes the gap between "time you get to a bus stop" and "time the bus comes" is less than a minute, even for an able-bodied person able to make the walk in the time the app predicts. As you can guess, this can still be stressful if you're not sure you'll make it in time.

I feel like this would be a very helpful change. It doesn't look like the Transit App has a specific dedicated subreddit, so I'm posting this here in the hopes that someone has an answer or at least a suggestion.
