Regarding the transphobia on the sub
This sub has always been a trans inclusive space. We believe trans women are women and trans men are men. Today there’s been a lot of complaints from trans women that this sub likes to “other” them and act like they’re less than other women. There have been a lot of comments and a lot of posts condemning the casual transphobia that the trans women in this sub have experienced, especially in the way people talk about trans women’s bodies.
I’ve determined that all these posts and comments have actually been made by straight men men who knew we were having this discourse AGAIN in our sub who all got onto their established transgender alts and started astroturfing our sub about the “transphobia” they see here. It’s not actually happening, it’s actually all just TERFs pretending there’s transphobes here so that our subreddit gets a bad name! There’s no way trans women actually have had bad experiences here.
There’s no way trans women are tired of hearing their bodies debated over and called disgusting and unloveable. We call trans women trans women, we use she/her, we don’t even call lesbians bisexual for dating trans women! It just doesn’t make sense that trans women would be speaking up about the daily discussions over genital preferences and how we’d prefer you kept yours far far away from us. The only thing that makes sense to me is that all these “trans” people are just MRAs trying to ruin our wholesome friendly subreddit
