Complete beginner. Any advice would be great

Like the title suggests, I’m very new to investing. I have tried to learn about it and it is a bit confusing to me. I will continue to keep reading up. In the meantime, I wondered if I put some of my money into the Invesco FTSE All World (Acc) and just left it alone. Maybe add a bit every month? And avoid investing in any other companies till I have the knowledge? I cannot be very risky but I do want to build my money for the future.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
