Tabletop Players/Fans, What Aspects of Total War: Warhammer (Units, Locations, Abilities, etc.) are the Most Faithfully Adapted from the Source Material?

I'm generally acquainted with the Warhammer Fantasy world thanks to the Total War games and from reading a few novels (Skarsnik by Guy Haley being my favorite), but I've never played the Tabletop, and I on occasion see people on the sub complain about how certain aspects of the game are not great adaptations of the original Tabletop unit or the mechanics of the game, such as the lores of magic being different being a common complaint.

Obviously, everything can't be translated perfectly when going from one medium to the next, but what things in the game do you consider to be great to near-perfect adaptations of the original source materials, such as units, rules, mechanics, lore, etc.?
